MyAHSConnect Sign Up Instructions

If you are signed up already, go to AHS.ca/mac to access MyAHSConnect.

MyAHSConnect is a secure patient portal that allow you access to some of your health information through Alberta Health Services.  It is part of ConnectCare, a comprehensive electronic health care record which is rolling out across all Alberta Health Services facilities over the next 5 years.  Currently, it is available for physicians and patients at the University of Alberta Hospital and Kaye Edmonton Clinic.

MyAHSConnect provides you access to your health results.  It also allows you to send a secure message to your rheumatologist and/or their office, and they can respond to you directly, rather than leaving a message by phone.  MyAHSConnect allows for virtual clinic visits through secure video communications, which has become more important as a result of the COVID19 pandemic.

To access MyAHSConnect, you must also sign up for a MyAlberta Digital ID (MADI) account.  Click here to be directed to the Government of Alberta’s website for sign up.

Once you have a MADI, you can create a MyHealth Records account.  Within this account, you can find some of your health records, but also a comprehensive view through MyAHSConnect.  Once you are signed up, you can also download the MyAHSConnect to have access through your smartphone.

To activate your MyAHSConnect account, all you need to do is contact your rheumatologists’ office and they can quickly set it up for you.
